Paper highlights: Understanding displacement transmissibility of Coulomb friction oscillators

Congrats to Luca Marino (Lincoln) for his first journal paper publication! This study investigates the vibration transmission in Coulomb friction oscillators under base or joined base-wall motion with analytical and numerical approaches. One of main results reveals how friction damping amplifies the response of the system at high frequencies, just as viscous damping.
