Arun graduated with a dual degree B.Tech-M.Tech in Converging Technologies, Nanotechnology from University of Rajasthan, India. His master’s research was based on polymer nanocomposites (carbon nanotube/carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate composites) for aerospace applications. Following his degree, he worked in CSIR-National Physical Laboratory as a project assistant. While there, he worked on proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) system and on development of next generation energy efficient devices.
Arun's research focusses on investigating the electrical and dielectric properties of different metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for next generation electronic devices. He is also interested in electrical sensors for VOCs detection using MOF frameworks.
