Biography
Dr Cees Carels is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant and Research Software Engineer on the Square Kilometre Array project. His research interests include High Performance Computing (HPC) and digital signal processing for CPUs/GPUs, with applications in radioastronomy and dark matter. He holds a DPhil in Particle Physics; with a focus on acoustic sensor instrumentation, algorithm development, and Monte Carlo simulations of detector electronics.
