Biography
Cephas Samende completed a BEng (2014) in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department at University of Zambia. Following this, he was employed as a graduate engineer at Rural Electrification Authority – Zambia and subsequently as a teaching assistant at the University of Zambia.
He joined Oxford in 2016 where he is currently pursuing a DPhil in the Energy and Power Group. His research is focused on the application of advanced control and optimization techniques toward optimal energy sharing in networked energy systems. His supervisor is Professor Malcolm McCulloch.
