Jack is a DPhil candidate in Engineering Science with the wind and tidal energy group. Jack's primary interests are in decarbonisation and the development of renewable energy technologies, and his research is focussed on the life time performance of wind farms. Before starting at Oxford, Jack received a Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering from Harvard University in 2017.
- The effect of blade roughness on wind turbine performance
- Performance decline of wind farms
- Lifetime performance of wind farms
- Predicting energy production from wind farms both spatially and temporally
Jack has been awarded the Australia Day Foundation UK Trust grant to pursue his research in the UK
