Biography
Dr. Md Mostafa Kamal Sarker is a Senior Research Associate at Noble Group, Biomedical Image Analysis (BioMedIA), Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME), Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. He has several years of research experience in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision (CV), machine learning (ML), and deep learning (DL). Dr. Mostafa has about five years of experience in deep learning for image classification, object detection, and instance segmentation in computer vision and biomedical image analysis domain.
Dr. Mostafa has successfully completed 12 projects with the collaboration of 7 different institutes in 5 countries, Australia, Bangladesh, France, Spain, and the UK, respectively. Dr. Mostafa has published 40 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals and national/international conference proceedings during the 10 years of his research career. He has successfully solved several challenging tasks in the field of health informatics, and biomedical image analysis.
