Navin Cooray BEng BSc DPhil (Oxon)

Postdoctoral Researcher


Navin attained his Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science focused in electrical engineering and mathematics from the University of Queensland.

He has currently just completed his DPhil/PhD in engineering at the University of Oxford, using signal processing and machine learning to develop diagnostic tools for clinical applications in sleep studies.

Research Project

RBD Wearable Devices - This project aims to utilise wearable sleep recording devices to identify individuals with RBD, a highly predictive disorder of Parkinson's disease.
