Dr. Numan Celik has a master's and a Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Brunel University London. His Phd research focused on machine learning algorithms in wearables for detecting arrhythmia in ECG signals. He has worked previously as a post doctoral researcher at King's College, Imperial College, and University of Liverpool in developing deep learning tools for Computer Vision and time series data.
Dr. Celik has also been at Alan Turing Institute as a Data Science Researcher to cluster with Dementia/Parkinson's diseases datasets.
Numan joined Professor Jens Rittscher's group in May 2020 as a postdoctoral researcher in biomedical image analysis.
