Biography

Dr Parth Girdhar is a theoretical physicist and quantum engineer. Currently he is a postdoctoral researcher and tutor working primarily on foundations of quantum physics and machine learning and applications of machine learning to quantum device control.

Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the School of Engineering and Technology, University of New South Wales (Canberra), Australia. He completed a Ph.D. thesis from the School of Physics, University of Sydney, Australia on theoretical foundations of quantum physics and B.Sc. (Advanced) 1st Class Honours, University of Sydney, majoring in physics and mathematics and thesis on theoretical/statistical cosmology.
