I am currently a Post Doc Research Assistant working with Prof. Li He. My research focuses on the unsteady conjugated heat transfer. I obtained my DPhil in the University of Oxford. My DPhil work aims to achieve turbine tip cooling optimization combining shaping and flow control by using a multi-scale method. The multi-scale method has shown to be low-cost and high-fidelity in flow field where large length scale disparity presents.
Before joining the University of Oxford, I studied my master’s degree from the ETH Zürich and wrote my master thesis at the MIT Gas Turbine Lab with Dr. Choon Sooi Tan. My master thesis is about loss generation analysis in transonic turbines. I completed a dual bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering at Tongji University and Politecnico di Milano.
I enjoy traveling while tasting local cuisine. I used to cycle around Iceland and along the Grand Canal from Shanghai to Beijing. I am also an enthusiastic skier and rower.
