Yu in AIM-ECR Interdisciplinarity Day

On 24 October 2024, Yu participated in an Early Career Researcher (ECR) Day, hosted by the Artificial Intelligence and Multidisciplinary: Clustering in Individuals, Space and Clinical Context (AIM-CISC), at the Informatics Forum, University of Edinburgh. The event focused on exploring interdisciplinary research, discussing institutional structures that facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration, and identifying essential skills required for effective cross-disciplinary teamwork.

Yu’s research, focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to tackle real-world problems ranging from individual healthcare to collective behaviours, greatly benefited from this workshop. The discussions provided Yu with fresh insights into successfully navigating interdisciplinary challenges, highlighting practical strategies and lessons learned from various AIM projects.
