Mingcheng Awarded Clarendon Scholarship

In 2024, Mingcheng was awarded the Clarendon Scholarship, one of Oxford University's most prestigious funding schemes. Established in 2001, the Clarendon Fund supports outstanding graduate students from across the globe, covering full course fees and providing generous living expenses. The scholarship recognises students demonstrating exceptional academic potential and future leadership capabilities, regardless of nationality or academic discipline.

Mingcheng’s DPhil research focuses on developing large language models (LLMs) for healthcare, aiming to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of healthcare systems through artificial intelligence. The Clarendon Scholarship will enable Mingcheng to pursue his research goals smoothly, providing essential financial support and the opportunity to engage with an intellectually stimulating interdisciplinary community.
