Zhiyao and Katarina Awarded Reuben Public Engagement Innovation Fund

On 19 April 2024, Reuben College announced the recipients of the 2023/24 Reuben Public Engagement with Research Innovation Fund, a competitive initiative promoting collaborative, interdisciplinary public engagement projects. Among this year's successful proposals is "Interactive Learning through AI: A Gamified Approach to Healthcare Education," led by our group members Zhiyao Luo and Katarina Vukosavljević.
The project will develop an interactive educational game aimed at students, healthcare professionals, and the general public, designed to illustrate the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. Through simulated medical scenarios and AI-assisted decision-making, the game will foster understanding of AI's potential to enhance healthcare delivery.
"We are sincerely thankful for this opportunity to meaningfully contribute towards raising public awareness about the role of AI in healthcare. We are looking forward to engaging with the public and learning together about how AI can improve healthcare delivery." say Zhiyao and Katarina.
