EMAM group members conducted beamline experiment at ENGINX

Time-of-flight neutron diffraction measurement of radioactive nuclear graphite

Proton irradiated POCO ZXF-5Q graphite at ENGIN-X sample stage.

Led by Dr Eric Jiang, EMEM group members Sophia Carpio, Andreas Iakovidis, and Matthew Harrison, attended the ENGIN-X beamline expeirment at ISIS Neutron and Muon Source (RB2520096). This experiments concerns about the irradiation damage and lattice strain mapping of POCO ZXF-5Q graphite irradiated by Fermilab's 120 GeV, 340 kW, and pulsed proton beam.
