Cultural Heritage Programme

The Cultural Heritage Programme was launched in January 2013 through the Forum Series to promote internal collaborations between the University of Oxford’s four Academic Divisions and its Museums and collections, and to develop external collaborations with other research institutions worldwide. It was supported by the University of Oxford's John Fell Fund.

A major initiative of the Programme was Digital Cultural Heritage India and China, an AHRC Network.

The 2019 relaunch, with the University’s Department of Engineering Science, highlights the importance of digital technologies, particularly Linked Open Data, to the broadly-defined heritage sector.
