Digital Cultural Heritage India
The lead organization in India was the Center for Art and Archaeology at the American Institute of Indian Studies in Delhi Gurgaon which is digitising more than 200,000 images of Indic art and architecture with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
Digital Cultural Heritage China
The lead organisation in China was Peking University through its School of Arts. The museum sector was represented by the National Museum of China, and the library sector by (China Academic Digital Associative Library). The Library is funded by the State under the Ministry of Education, "to build academic digital libraries with advance technology, with massive multi-disciplinary, multi-type, multi-lingual digital resources."
