Members of the HBL Laboratory participate in the "Mapping the Future of Soft Robotics for Healthcare" conference from February 26th to 27th, held in Wimbledon, London, which is famous for the Wimbledon Championships. The conference, centred on "Developing and translating technologies in soft robotics from concept to clinic," provided a platform for researchers to present their latest findings and engage in fruitful discussions.

Distinguished attendees included scholars and researchers from prestigious institutions such as MIT, Oxford, Imperial College London, UCL, EPFL, the University of Bristol, the University of Bath, and Queen Mary University of London. The conference facilitated interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange among soft robotics and healthcare experts.

Yixing and Zhongchao from the HBL Laboratory contributed to the conference by presenting posters and delivering speeches, highlighting the lab's ongoing research in healthcare soft robotics. The conference also set a seeding funding prize. Zhongchao and his team members' proposal, which focused on sleep apnoea, garnered significant attention and secured funding support. The project received the esteemed Future Fund award worth £3000, demonstrating the recognition of HBL Laboratory's efforts in driving innovative research with potential clinical impact.
