NetDRIVE Community Projects

The NetDRIVE project is funding a series of community activities, with funding awards made through a series of calls. A portion of the funding is reserved for projects led by early career investigators.

Funding is awarded to community projects, based on how they address at least one of the following topics, which are designed to address targets on the Net Zero Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI) roadmap.

  1. Supply Chain Sustainability
  2. Monitoring Usage and Impact
  3. Training and User Behaviour
  4. UK Compute Roadmap

Projects are expected to should deliver clear outputs and will be assessed against three criteria by a review panel

  • Excellence.  is the proposed work breaking new ground and changing the way in which we view sustainability within the DRI?
  • Fit to the objectives. Will the proposed work produce substantial impact in the selected domain?
  • Ability to deliver. is there a clear plan? Have the team of applicants thought through the process well enough to deliver the project? Is there a clear approach to knowledge translation planning?
