CALOPUS is a collaborative research project between the Department of Engineering Science and Women’s Reproductive Health at the University of Oxford and the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) based in Delhi, India. The project brings together an international team of experts in clinical and engineering science to develop a point-of-care ultrasound solution that will identify whether pregnant women are at risk of an adverse pregnancy event.
March 2020: The 'Innovative solutions for maternal and child health using medical image analysis and Artificial Intelligence' workshop took place in Faridabad, India. This was organised jointly by THSTI and Oxford and fortuitously took place during International Women's Day celebrations.
CALOPUS is co-funded by the Global Challenge Research Fund (GCRF) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
