Access Guide

All proceedings will take place in the Maplethorpe Building.

The entrance to St Hugh's College on St Margaret’s Road, with ample car parking adjacent to this entrance (up to two hours) and access for pedestrians via the gate which is open 24 hours a day.

The College Lodge is to the immediate left of this entrance. There is an external bell to summon the Porters. You can read further information on accessibility here.

St Hugh's College is located near to Oxford city centre. The postcode for the College is OX2 6LE.

If arriving in Oxford by rail, bus 14 (stop R4) connects the train station directly to the College (alight at St Margaret's Road East); alternatives are buses 2, 2A and S7, which can be taken from nearby Magdalen Street (OX1 3AE). Local taxis can be booked by telephoning Royal Cars on 01865 777333, or from the taxi rank located directly in front of the railway station. 

If driving to the event, please note that parking within Oxford city centre is limited. Park and Ride services are located conveniently to the north (Peartree or Oxford Parkway), south (Redbridge), and east (Thornhill) of the city; please avoid using Seacourt Park & Ride to the west, due to the ongoing closure of the Botley Road bridge.
