Antenna Diversity

Since the VNA system is equipped with dual antenna sampling capability, it is possible to examine the effects of antenna spatial diversity. To this end a number of exploratory measurements were performed with antenna diversity at the receiver. One antenna was located at a fixed position, whilst the other antenna was moved in a horizontal line along the X-Y positioner. Channel impulse responses from both antennas were obtained at a number of different antenna separations (0.1-1.1 m).
