P4DNS wins Xilinx Open Hardware 2020 competition

P4DNS is an in-network DNS solution

Congratulations to Jackson Woodruff and Murali Ramanujam who won the Xilinx Open Hardware 2020 competition in the Student category for the P4DNS project.

P4DNS is an in-network DNS acceleration solution, implemented in P4 over NetFPGA, and achieving x53 throughput improvement and x100 latency improvement compared with host-based DNS.

The project was developed by Jackson and Murali at the University of Cambridge, under the supervision of Prof Zilberman.
