Setting

The programme is centred at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, University of Oxford, alongside labs in Cambridge, UCL, and Glasgow Universities.

In Oxford the programme is closely affiliated to the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust (John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospitals), the Oxford Health NIHR Biomedical Research Centre, and the Oxford Pain Network. This embeds our engineering focus within the basic neuroscience and clinical pain communities. We work closely with numerous lived experience partners from across the spectrum of chronic pain sufferers and carers.
