About the Thermal Propulsion Systems Group, Department of Engineering Science University of Oxford
About us
The Thermal Propulsion Systems Research Group, which was founded in 1993 by Professor Richard Stone, is dedicated to developing the fundamental science necessary to enable substantial emissions reductions and efficiency improvements in next generation vehicles. Initially focused on internal combustion engines research, the group's activities have expanded under the leadership of Professors Martin Davy and Felix Leach to include air quality and life cycle analyses. We conduct a wide range of analytical, experimental and numerical studies in support of our goals.
