Justin at SPR Annual Meeting 2025

On 18 October 2025, our visiting scholar, Justin Laiti, presented his research at the Society of Psychophysiological Research (SPR) Annual Meeting, held in Montréal, Canada. The conference brought together leading researchers exploring the intersection of physiology, psychology, and neuroscience to discuss the latest advances in psychophysiological research.

Justin presented a poster showcasing work completed during his time as a visiting scholar at the University of Oxford, where he applied machine learning techniques to photoplethysmography (PPG) data collected from students. This work evaluated a lightweight processing pipeline on custom and open-source PPG data and identified the features that contributed to stress and fatigue classification in students.
