Field Monitoring
Approaches are rapidly developing for site investigation, design and re-assessment of offshore structures. The analysis of full scale field monitored data is critical to feedback into these processes and provides data that cannot otherwise be accurately measured or estimated. In strong collaboration with industry, including the world’s largest offshore wind developers, we adopt and develop state-of-the-art approaches in signal processing, modal analysis and system identification. These methods aim to deliver improved estimation of system properties (incl. soil and structure), structural loads, input excitation, sensor selection and damage detection.
