Electrophysiological
Our electrical research focuses on advancing the understanding and treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF) through high-resolution electrophysiological mapping and computational modelling. Using data from technologies such as charge density mapping (CDM) and electroanatomic voltage mapping (EAVM), we study the dynamic patterns of wavefront propagation that drive AF. These functional insights are integrated with anatomical data from imaging modalities like MRI and ultrasound to reveal how structural remodelling influences electrical conduction. Our goal is to translate these advanced insights into tools that enhance clinical decision-making, particularly in guiding catheter ablation.
