Marcus Juniper, The Environmental Fluid Mechanics Group
Marcus Juniper
Academic Background
Marcus graduated with a first class honours in mathematics (MMath) from the University of Exeter in 2019. He joined the Environmental Fluid Mechanics group in the same year to pursue a DPhil in Engineering Science, working under Dr. Takafumi Nishino and Prof. Richard Willden.
Research interests
Marcus’ research involves the fluid dynamical physics that governs the flow around large scale wind farms. He is particularly interested in the development, and validation, of analytic and numerical models to better understand the larger scale dynamics of the interaction between environmental features and multi-turbine wind farms.
