Salary

Grade 6: £35,681 - £41,636 per annum (pro rata for part time appointments (Inclusive of Oxford University weighting)

Description

We are looking for a capable, enthusiastic, hands-on and flexible team-worker, happy to operate in a dynamic environment. We value passion for and know-how in content writing, dissemination, and engagement with diverse audiences. This is a new role within the ORI.  You will take the lead on developing the communications strategy for the institute in collaboration with the leadership team. With the ORI’s 10th anniversary in 2026 planning and delivering events and campaigns around this will be a major focus.
 
This role is fixed term for 12 months
 
About You
 
You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience, along with experience in developing communication strategies across multiple platforms.  You will have excellent writing skills and attention to detail and be able to write for non-specialist audiences and communicate complex concepts in a clear and engaging way. Experience of working in a research/higher education environment would be desirable.
