Description
We are seeking a postdoctoral research assistant to join Professor Li He’s research group at the Department of Engineering Science (based in the Southwell Building). The post is funded by EPSRC and is fixed-term for 18 months.
The project will involve analyses of unsteady fluid-solid coupled conjugate heat transfer computations for a novel heat transfer enhancement mechanism. You will be responsible for scoping studies, verification/validation of the coupled modelling and method, analysing/understanding the underlining CHT aerothermal physics and scoping configurations.
You should possess a PhD (or be near completion) with substantial experience in computational fluid dynamics application, preferably in convective heat transfer related topics areas. Good organisational skills and the ability to communicate scientific ideas to an expert audience are also required.
