We are seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to join Impact Engineering Team in the Solid Mechanics and Materials Engineering Group at the Department of Engineering Science (Begbroke Science Park). The post is fixed-term for 2 years, in the first instance.

The focus of the role is on delivering the operational activities for the Impact Engineering Group's portfolio of projects. The role requires you to act as the first point of contact for industrial partners. You will need to coordinate the delivery of milestones on multiple projects, prepare project plans and implement ISO quality standards. You will require well-developed problem solving skills to identify solutions to operational problems. Given the multiple responsibilities, you must be able to manage your time and prioritise tasks without supervision.

You should possess experience of project or technical management in an experimental/laboratory environment and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including external funders, academic, technical and administrative staff.
