JITRI IMPACT Institute Programme Coordinator and Research Scientist

Salary: Grade 7: £32,817 - £36,914 p.a.


We are seeking a full time Programme Coordinator and Research Scientist to join The Oxford-JITRI Innovative Materials and Processes for Advanced and Critical Technology (IMPACT) at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME) in Headington and Begbroke Science Park, Oxford. The post is funded by JITRI and is fixed-term to 22nd March 2023.


You will be responsible for coordinating research activities of the JITRI IMPACT Institute,  and assisting the Director of JITRI IMPACT Institute to implement research strategy. You will need to prepare reports on research progress and financial status and organize the JITRI workshop and symposia in Oxford.


You should possess A doctoral degree (completed or near completion) in a Mathematical, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences or Engineering discipline, together with some relevant experience, together with experience writing scientific reports. The ability to manage your own research and administrative activities together with excellent organizational skills is essential.
