Description

We are seeking a full-time Project Co-ordinator and Administrator to join Professor Wes Armour’s research group at the Department of Engineering Science. The post is funded by The Joint Academic Data Science Endeavour (JADE) and is fixed-term until 31 December 2023.

 

The JADE consortium is led by the University of Oxford. It focuses on the advancement of Artificial Intelligence in the UK and has representation from 20 UK Universities. The consortium is centred on the UKs only large compute facility dedicated to AI (an investment of £8.5M by UK research councils). The JADE Administration & Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for the administrative and professional support of internal and external colleagues. This will include being the first point of contact for JADE information, supporting the coordination of activities, providing generalist project management, and ensuring project communications and engagement are appropriately administered.

 

You should have experience of providing high level administrative support, ideally in a projects role; excellent organizational and planning skills; experience of organizing events; a proven ability to work independently whilst communicating effectively, and strong problem-solving skills. Education to graduate level (or equivalent experience) is essential.
