Description
We are seeking exceptional candidates for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the Active Vision Lab at the Department of Engineering Science in central Oxford. The post is externally funded and is fixed term for 12 months in the first instance.
This is a research project that aims to develop machine learning technologies with applications to 3D computer vision, with a central focus towards Neural Radiance Fields and their application to (i) ego-centric computer vision and/or (ii) data coming from head mounted devices.
You will Develop and implement novel 3D computer vision and learning algorithms.
You should possess a Ph.D (or be near completion) in Computer Vision or Machine Learning. Knowledge of approaches for areas related to NeRFs and ego-centric (3D) computer vision is essential. As is an Ability to manage own academic research and associated activities.
