Description

We are seeking a full-time Programme Manager to support the EEBio Programme Grant (https://eebio.web.ox.ac.uk/) and other activities at the intersection of Control Engineering and Engineering Biology, at the Department of Engineering Science. The role will be based in Central Oxford. The post is fixed-term until 31st December 2029.

 

As a Programme Manager you will have a leadership role in the management, operation and growth of the Programme Grant, which is a collaboration between the Universities of Oxford, Bristol, and Imperial College London and brings together a large team of researchers and investigators (more than 20) from across the universities together with many industrial partners and other stakeholders (over 25).The Programme Manager will take responsibility for all operational aspects including administrative, financial, and practical support to ensure success.

 

You should be educated to degree level or possess equivalent experience with evidence of strong intellectual, numerical, and analytical skills. You should have evidence of experience and ability to engage effectively with unfamiliar technical material and administration or project management. You should have proven financial aptitude with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to produce clear and concise financial and research reports to allow growth of the programme. Moreover, you should have excellent oral, written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills and be a proficient user of IT.
