About the role
We are seeking one full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the Vectorial Optics and Photonics Group at the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford). The post is fixed term from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2027.
About you
The Postdoctoral Research Assistant will work on the design and development of a vectorial adaptive optics-enhanced, liquid crystal-based Mueller matrix pathological microscope. Among other activities, this will involve investigating liquid crystal-based systems, intensity adaptive optics techniques, whole-slide imaging/scanning systems, proposing and designing vectorial measurement and polarisation control programs, procuring components, and documenting and reporting findings.
