Biography
Dr Ruchit Agrawal is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in AI for Healthcare at the University of Oxford. He works at the Computational Health Informatics Lab and focuses on optimising patient flow in hospitals using Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
Prior to joining Oxford, Ruchit was employed as a Marie Curie AI Researcher in the transnational MIP-Frontiers project in London. He was awarded the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie scholarship to conduct research on deep learning for audio signal processing. Ruchit obtained his doctorate in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the Queen Mary University of London, where he developed intelligent context-aware performance-score synchronisation techniques. He has authored several research articles published in reputed international conferences and journals in AI and Machine Learning.
His research interests include Clinical Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision and Audio Signal Processing.
