Oxford Battery Modelling Symposium 2025

A unique event for the Battery Modelling community

Since 2019 the Oxford Battery Modelling Symposium (OBMS) has brought together mathematicians, chemists, physicists and engineers from academia and industry to discuss the latest modelling research and applications.

OBMS is organised by Professors David Howey, Charles Monroe, Colin Please and Jon Chapman from the Department of Engineering Science and the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford.

Our philosophy is to invite a small number of outstanding speakers spanning a range of topics from atomistic to continuum modelling, controls and beyond, giving broad and inspiring presentations and open discussions.
