The Supergen Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Hub’s recent report – the Strategic Research Agenda – sets out the key research challenges and opportunities shaping the future of offshore renewable energy. The report takes a whole-sector, forward-thinking view to pinpoint where research and innovation can unlock the greatest impact.

In a new webinar, chaired by Prof. Deborah Greaves OBE, these research priorities will be discussed, identifying the synergies them, and the actions needed across the sector to accelerate innovation while delivering environmental and socioeconomic value for the UK.

The session will review the collaborative effort behind the development of the Agenda and the foundation of existing policy work on which it builds. The discussion will focus on understanding the research challenges and exploring next steps - specific actions for different parts of the sector to take forward to strengthen the foundation of innovative research the sector needs.
