If you are an experienced administrator who is pro-active, self-motivated, and can rise to a challenge, this could be the role for you.
The Graduate Studies Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support as part of the busy Student Administration team in the Department of Engineering Science. Working under the direction of the Graduate Studies Administrator you will have a particular focus on supporting graduate programs.
You will act as first point of contact for queries, and provide support with student communications, using different academic-related computer systems and databases.
The role will involve you working on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You should have experience of administrative processes and a customer-focused attitude. You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to deal with a busy workload with minimum supervision. Good IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems are essential, as is a “can do” attitude.
Informal enquiries may be addressed to Kristiana Dahl (email: firstname.lastname@example.org).
You will be required to upload a covering letter explaining how you meet the essential criteria of the role, CV and the details of two referees as part of your online application.
Only online applications received before 12.00 midday on Wednesday 27 November 2019 can be considered.
