As Senior Research Manager you will oversee a variety of interesting and dynamic research programmes and projects in the area of biomedical engineering. This is a challenging role to support the development and delivery of key strategic projects and will require coordination across University Divisions, the Oxford University Hospitals Trust and with external UK and overseas partners.
The role is full-time (although part-time at 30 hours a week would be considered) and is based at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (Headington, Oxford). The post is funded by various research programmes and is fixed-term for 3 years.
You will work with a variety of key stakeholders including academic and clinical leaders, external partners (including internationally) and other university staff. The focus of the role is on delivering the operational activities linked to the research objectives of each programme, as well as helping to develop and sustain future research programmes.
You should be educated to degree level. You must have experience of administration or project management in a complex organisation. Proven financial aptitude with the ability to produce financial and research reports is essential, as are strong communication and relationship building skills.
