We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Visible Light Communications to join Optical Wireless Communications Research Group at the Department of Engineering Science, central Oxford. The post is funded by the EPSRC and is fixed-term to 31 January 2021.

The successful candidate will play a key role in this cutting-edge work. We require an exceptional engineer and researcher with the vision and skills to characterise VLC receivers. The project will be collaborative and involve working closely with colleagues in Oxford and some work within the Organic Semiconductor Optoelectronics Research Group in the University of St. Andrews.

You should possess PhD/DPhil or be near completion with skills in photonic systems research and experimentation, preferably the characterisation of photodetectors/receivers.
