Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Computer Vision

We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join Professor Torr's research group at the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford). This post is fixed term to the 31st August 2021 with funding provided by Innovate UK.

The research that will be carried out within this project requires application and advancement of the most recent techniques in the subjects of Image based 3D reconstruction, Human body statistical analysis, and Deep Learning of 3D shapes. These are all active research areas, and we have an opportunity to both collate the current state of the art and to drive the direction of future research. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of novel computer vision and learning algorithms to automate 3D reconstruction of humans from video.

You should possess a doctorate, or be near completion of doctorate, in Computer Vision Machine Learning or a relevant subject, together with a strong publication record at principal computer vision or machine learning conferences (NIPS, ICLR, ICML, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV), with a background in machine learning.
