We are seeking a part-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant in air quality sensing and analysis to join Professor Leach's research group at the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford). The post is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council and is fixed-term to 31 December 2021.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in analysis of air pollution data related to the COVID-19 restrictions as well as influence policy for future air quality improvements. You will be responsible for managing a network of 18 air quality sensors, data analysis ( including machine learning techniques where appropriate), developing policy recommendations in collaboration with the project team and partners, and liaison with the wider community.

You should possess a relevant PhD/DPhil (or near completion) or have equivalent relevant experience, experience in particulate and gaseous pollutant formation and dispersion, and experience of analysis of large-scale datasets.
