Description

We are seeking a full-time Personal Assistant and Administrator to support the Professor of Sustainable Energy Engineering and the research groups within the field of Sustainable Energy Engineering at the Department of Engineering Science (Oxford).  The position is a permanent position.

 

You will be responsible for providing a high level of PA support, including diary management, UK and international travel arrangements, dealing with correspondence and researching/replying to a range of queries on behalf of the Prof of Sustainable Energy. You will be responsible for dealing with all enquiries, organisation & arrangements for meetings, training, catering and room bookings as well as maintaining appropriate records and filing systems. It is expected that you will also provide administrative support on financial matters, help maintain the group website, assist with general institute-wide administration at Begbroke Science Park.

 

You should possess experience of diary management, making complex travel arrangements, event organisation, and drafting reports. You will also need a high standard of numeracy, together with the ability to organize a varied workload, work to deadlines, and be able to work independently in a positive and pro-active manner. Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook are an essential requirement.
