About the role
We are seeking a Programme Manager to join the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford). The role is being offered full-time or part-time (22.5 hours a week would be considered) and is based in Central Oxford. The post is fixed term for two years in the first instance.
 
As a Programme Manager you will primarily oversee research programmes for Professor Noa Zilberman. This is a challenging role to support the development and delivery of projects.  You will take responsibility for all operational aspects including administrative, financial management and auditing, contractual and practical support in the context of the wider support structures of the Department of Engineering Science.  This includes taking a leading role in the administration of an Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA) grant.  This role will require the person to develop significant experience in managing these grants and become an expert advisor to Professor Noa Zilberman.
 
About you
You should be educated to degree level or equivalent. You must have experience of administration or project management in a complex organisation. Proven financial aptitude with the ability to manage financial reporting is essential, as are strong communication and relationship building skills.
