4th Year Undergraduate Student Project Poster Competition
Overall Winner: "Novel Weighted A* Footstep Planner for Quadruped Robot Over Rough Terrain", Katherine Greatwood
The 4th Year Project Poster Competition, held annually since 2001, is an amazing platform that offers Engineering Science 4th year students the opportunity to showcase their work to representatives from industry, alumni and academics in the Department of Engineering Science.
Based on their 4th year projects, students are invited to present a poster on their work to a panel of judges with the aim of winning one of four categories or being the overall winner, all with cash prizes. The overall winner is also given the opportunity to present their project at the Department‘s Jenkin Lecture in the autumn.
Each year judges from industry and our Alumni network work alongside our Director of Fourth Year studies to assess the posters.
The prizes this year were sponsored by Oxford Engineering Alumni, BP, Ecrin and the Department of Engineering Science. The 2021 winners were announced during our Lubbock lecture event on 17 June.
