Biography
Chris Hambidge is the Hypersonics Operations Manager at the University of Oxford's Thermofluids Institute. In this role, he leads the technical team responsible for managing the research group's nationally significant high-speed wind tunnels; facilitating experimental test campaigns for students, academics, and industrial partners. He also serves as the engineering lead for upgrade projects and is responsible for the development and administration of key technical tools and resources. Furthermore, Chris actively supports the advancement of high-speed flow research programs and is embedded in the strategic decision-making of the hypersonics group.
