Biography
Franco is a DPhil student in the Engineering Science Department supervised by Professor Aidong Yang, with a strong research focus on sustainable cement, particularly on decarbonising the clinker production process. His work involves exploring alternative fuels and clinker compositions through process simulation and optimisation modelling.
Before joining Oxford University, he received his Masterʼs in Structural Engineering from the University of Sydney and a Bachelorʼs Honours) in Civil Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University. He is passionate about reducing climate change impacts from construction materials and practices.
