Biography
Frank is a part-time, DPhil (PhD) candidate at the University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science, where his research focuses on Systems Assurance and Regulatory Risk of Physical AI, Robotics and Autonomous Systems. He holds an MSE in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from MIT.
Frank Jonas is the Founder & CEO of Fidelitas Defense — a mission driven leader, with two decades of service at the intersection of cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection.
Frank began his career as a U.S. Marine, serving 20 years. His military service includes assignments at U.S. Cyber Command and NSA. Transitioning from active duty, he joined the FBI as a Special Agent (Cyber), serving in operations from the New York City area. Retiring from the FBI in 2022, Frank served as Director of Cyber Threat Detection for Johnson & Johnson in London, UK, before founding Fidelitas Defense in 2025.

Systems Assurance & Technology Diligence assessing and reducing Provenance, Supply Chain, Cyber & Regulatory risk across the Physical AI, Robotics and Autonomous Systems technology stack including: Hardware, Firmware, OS, Middleware, AI/ML (Perception, Planning, Control) SDK, and AI Simulation, Training & Testing environments.
